terms of service

 

1. Our Services

PsychEd Solutions, P.A. provides a range of mental health and psychological services, including but not limited to:

  • Individual, family, and group counseling
     
  • Psychoeducational and psychological assessments
     
  • Telehealth and virtual mental health sessions
     
  • School-based support services
     
  • Wellness consultations and support
     

All services are provided by licensed professionals or supervised trainees and are delivered in accordance with clinical best practices and ethical standards.


2. Client Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to request services on your own, or be represented by a parent or legal guardian if under 18. We reserve the right to decline service based on clinical appropriateness, eligibility, or legal requirements.


3. Appointments & Cancellations

 Appointments for services at PsychEd Solutions, P.A. may be booked through a partner agency, third-party referral service, or directly via our website or office. Once scheduled, clients are expected to honor their appointment time.

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or cancellations made with insufficient notice may result in a fee, in accordance with agency policy, and repeated no-shows may lead to service restrictions or referral back to the agency.

If your services are coordinated through an external agency, please also refer to their cancellation and attendance policies, as they may apply in addition to our own.


4. Telehealth Services

By choosing telehealth, you understand and accept the potential risks, including technical issues, data interruptions, and limitations in care compared to in-person sessions. Clients are expected to participate from a private, distraction-free space and use a secure internet connection.


5. Fees, Payments, and Insurance

Fees for services are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various forms of payment, including insurance, Medicaid, Step Up for Students (when applicable), and private pay. You are responsible for co-pays, deductibles, and services not covered by insurance.


We may send billing communications through phone, email, or SMS. All billing information is handled securely and confidentially.


6. Communication Preferences

By providing your contact information, you consent to be contacted by PES for purposes related to your care. Communication methods may include phone, email, or SMS. Details regarding message types and consent preferences are outlined in our Privacy Policy & SMS Terms.


7. Confidentiality and Records

All information shared with PES is kept confidential and protected under HIPAA, state privacy laws, and professional ethical guidelines. We do not share clinical, personal, or billing data with third parties without your explicit written consent, unless legally required or necessary to protect your safety or the safety of others.


8. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

PsychEd Solutions is not a crisis center and cannot guarantee immediate response times. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not rely on email, voicemail, or SMS for urgent mental health needs.


9. Client Conduct and Expectations

Clients are expected to engage in services respectfully and constructively. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services in cases of harassment, verbal abuse, threats, or noncompliance with clinical recommendations.


10. Use of Website

By accessing our website, you agree not to misuse the site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes. We reserve the right to restrict access for any inappropriate or unauthorized use of our website content, contact forms, or booking tools.


11. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of those changes.


 

12. SMS Terms & Disclosures

By opting in to receive SMS communications from PsychEd Solutions, P.A., you agree to receive messages related to your care, including appointment reminders, billing notifications, evaluation follow-ups, and occasional wellness messages.


You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode or reply to any message. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending messages to you.


If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us directly at infoservices@psychedsolutions.com or 954-257-7473.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.


Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary based on your care schedule and communication preferences.
