Dr. Angela C. Brinson, Ph.D.
Licensed School Psychologist & Holistic Wellness Consultant

Dr. Angela C. Brinson is a Licensed School Psychologist and Holistic Wellness Consultant, proudly serving the Florida community. A native of Miami, she earned her doctoral degree from Barry University. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Brinson has cultivated specialized skills in psychological assessment and counseling, demonstrating a compassionate and professional approach with a diverse clientele.

Licensed by the State of Florida, Dr. Brinson holds certifications as a Court Certified Parenting Coordinator, Trauma Outreach Specialist, Reiki Practitioner, and Juvenile Forensic Examiner. Her extensive background includes work with children, adolescents, adults, and families across various settings, such as the Department of Education, Department of Juvenile Justice, law enforcement, higher education, community behavioral health, and the media/entertainment industry. 

 In her private practice at PsychEd Solutions, P.A., Dr. Brinson focuses on psychological evaluations and counseling. Her areas of expertise encompass ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, giftedness, and emotional and behavioral challenges. She integrates traditional psychotherapeutic methods with holistic techniques, including mindfulness and meditation, to address the unique needs of each client. Additionally, Dr. Brinson provides Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations for individuals requiring comfort and support due to emotional difficulties. 

Dr. Brinson is also proud to support families navigating government-assisted programs. She offers evaluations and clinical documentation for services such as Step Up For Students scholarships, Medicaid-based mental health care, ADA accommodations for college students, DUI court-ordered evaluations, Department of Disability Determinations, Vocational Rehabilitation, ITN Awards, and other school-linked services through Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the Psychological Services for Selected Student Populations program.
